Terms and Conditions – B-Fi Networks

 

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the broadband and related services (“Services”) provided by B-Fi Networks. By subscribing to or using our Services, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws in India.

1. Eligibility & Account Information

1.1 You must be at least 18 years of age to subscribe.
1.2 You agree to provide accurate and current information at the time of registration.
1.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity under your account.



2. Use of Service

2.1 Services are intended for personal, residential, or small-business use only, unless otherwise authorized in writing.
2.2 Misuse of services, including but not limited to spamming, hacking, or illegal downloads, is strictly prohibited.
2.3 B-Fi Networks may monitor network performance and user behavior for technical and legal compliance.



3. Fair Usage Policy (FUP)

3.1 “Unlimited” data plans are subject to a Fair Usage Policy to ensure equal access for all users.
3.2 Usage beyond predefined FUP thresholds may result in speed reductions or additional charges.


4. Installation & Equipment

4.1 Installation is carried out by B-Fi Networks or its authorized partners.
4.2 Any equipment provided (e.g., routers, modems) remains the property of B-Fi Networks unless purchased by the customer.
4.3 In case of disconnection, all rented equipment must be returned or you will be charged the replacement cost.



5. Billing & Payments

5.1 All plans are billed in advance.
5.2 Payments must be made by the due date using approved payment methods.
5.3 Failure to pay may result in temporary suspension or permanent disconnection of service.
5.4 Charges are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.



6. Refunds & Cancellations

6.1 B-Fi Networks does not offer refunds on prepaid plans unless required by law.
6.2 If you cancel the service mid-cycle, no partial refund will be provided.
6.3 Refunds for overcharges or billing errors, if any, will be processed upon verification.



7. Third-Party Services

7.1 Access to third-party OTT platforms (e.g., Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLIV) is governed by the respective provider’s terms.
7.2 B-Fi Networks only facilitates activation and is not responsible for content, outages, or service quality of these platforms.



8. Data Privacy & Security

8.1 We collect and process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8.2 Your data is secured through encryption, access controls, and regular security audits.
8.3 We comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.



9. Suspension & Termination

9.1 B-Fi Networks reserves the right to suspend or terminate your service due to:

  • Non-payment

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Any unlawful activity
    9.2 You may terminate the service with at least 7 days’ written notice via email or call.
    9.3 On termination, all dues must be cleared, and rented equipment must be returned.



10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 While we strive for uninterrupted service, occasional outages may occur due to maintenance or external factors.
10.2 B-Fi Networks shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10.3 Our total liability, if any, is limited to the subscription fee paid by you for the previous one month.

12. Legal Compliance

12.1 B-Fi Networks complies with all applicable laws, including:

  • Information Technology (IT) Act, 2000

  • TRAI Regulations

  • Government mandates for data retention and lawful interception
    12.2 User activity data may be disclosed to government or law enforcement agencies when required by law.



13. Updates to Terms

13.1 We may update these Terms periodically. All changes will be posted on our website.
13.2 Continued use of our Services after such changes implies your acceptance of the updated Terms.



14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
